WW2 U.S. 1st type winter combat helmet

THESE PICTURES BELONG TO THE COMPLETE WW2 U.S. TANK COMMANDER MANNEQUIN!
ITEM WILL NOT BE SOLD SEPARATE!!!

A WW2 U.S. winter combat helmet that was worn under the standard crash helmet to keep the persons head warm.

This is the 1st type, because the second type had a blanket material lining.

No labels or stamps present anymore.
Looks like the chin strap is missing a piece of length, but nothing disturbing.
Overall condition is very good and light used with no rips or tears.

Same hood / helmet can be found in “GI collectors guide Vol.I” on page 129.
