WW2 British Webbing Pistol Cartridge Pouch (2)

A piece of equipment that was issued to most WW2 British officers and those that were issued a pistol.

It would hold ammo cartridges for the Webley Revolver.

These pouches were also used to hold the WW2 British magnetic marching compass.
The official pouches for the compass were lined with thick felt, but the ammo pouches served the same purpose very well.

Pouch is in near mint condition and is faintly marked on the backside with "O & M Ltd 42"
